1. Who will be driving the vehicle? For our Private Motorbike and Luxury Motorbike tours, you can sit back, relax, and take photos safely behind our expert "Easy Riders." If you book a Private SUV or Luxury Jeep tour, a professional, fully licensed 4-wheel driver will expertly navigate the mountain roads for you.

2. Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP)? You only need a valid IDP (1968 Vienna Convention with an A1/A endorsement) if you choose the "Self-ride" option for our motorbike tours. If you are booking an Easy Rider, SUV, or Jeep tour, you do not need any license at all—just bring your sense of adventure!

3. Do I need a permit to travel through Ha Giang? Yes. Because the Ha Giang Loop runs along the border area, a Mandatory Border Area Permit is strictly required by local law. To ensure a seamless VIP experience without any interruptions, HagiangTrips will arrange this local permit for you in advance completely free of charge. All you need to do is send a clear photo of your passport information page via WhatsApp to +84 904 044 772 right after confirming your booking.

4. What makes the "Private" and "Luxury" options different from standard tours? Privacy means ultimate flexibility. You are not bound by the schedule of a large group. You travel at your own pace, stop for photos whenever you want, and enjoy dedicated service from your personal guide. Our "Luxury" options further elevate your experience with premium vehicles (high-end motorbikes, modern climate-controlled SUVs, or stylish vintage Jeeps) and upgraded private room accommodations.

5. What happens to my large luggage? While our SUVs and Jeeps have much more storage space than motorbikes, we still highly recommend bringing only a smaller backpack (20L-30L) for maximum convenience during homestay check-ins. You can securely store your large, heavy suitcases at our HagiangTrips Hotel completely free of charge while you are on the Loop.

6. I am a vegetarian/vegan or have food allergies. Can you accommodate this? Absolutely. Because this is a private tour, we can easily customize your meals to meet any dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. Please inform us of your needs when booking so we can prepare everything perfectly.

7. Is the Ha Giang Loop safe? What happens if it rains? Your safety is our absolute highest priority, and our private drivers are rigorously trained for all mountain conditions.

• Motorbike Tours: We provide premium full-body raincoats and waterproof bags for your luggage.

• SUV Tours: You remain completely dry, safe, and comfortable in a climate-controlled cabin.

• Jeep Tours: Our open-top Jeeps are equipped with a canvas roof that can be quickly deployed if the weather changes.

8. Is travel insurance included in the tour? Yes, premium domestic travel insurance is automatically included in your booking. The maximum compensation for accidents during the tour is up to 100,000,000 VND per the contract terms.

9. What are your payment and deposit policies? To secure your premium adventure, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. You can easily pay online via our secure OnePay portal (Visa, Master, Amex, JCB, CUP) or via Bank Transfer. We cover 100% of all transaction fees—the price you see is exactly what you pay! The remaining balance can be settled upon arrival at our office via Cash or Card.

10. What is your cancellation and change policy?

• Before Departure: Cancellations made 30+ days in advance receive a 100% deposit refund. Cancellations made 15-29 days in advance receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. If HagiangTrips must cancel due to severe weather/landslides, you will receive a free date change or a 100% full refund.

• During the Tour: We pre-book all drivers, premium accommodations, and food in advance. Should you decide to voluntarily alter your itinerary, cancel mid-trip, or skip planned accommodations, no refunds will be issued for the unused services, and any extra costs incurred by new arrangements will be your responsibility.

DAY 1: THE GATEWAY TO THE GEOPARK (~135km)

• 08:00 AM: Breakfast and personalized tour briefing at Hagiangtrips office.

• Morning: Conquer Bac Sum Slope and stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate for a panoramic view of the Twin Mountains.

• Afternoon: Visit the Lung Tam weaving village, check-in at the Lonely Nghien Tree, and ascend the zigzagging Tham Ma Pass. Explore Pao's House and the H'Mong King's Palace.

• Evening: Check into your 4★ private room in Dong Van Town.

DAY 2: THE MAJESTIC CANYON & HISTORICAL RUINS (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

• Morning: Conquer the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views from the comfort of your SUV.
