▸ Do I have to ride the motorbike myself?
Not at all. Most guests choose the Easy Rider option — you sit behind your private local guide and enjoy the scenery. Prefer extra comfort? We also offer Private SUV, Classic Jeep, and Open Car tours.
▸ Do I need an IDP to self-ride?
Yes. Self-ride requires a valid motorbike licence plus an IDP (1968 Vienna Convention, category A1 or A) — the two are only valid together, and riding without them voids your travel insurance. Travelling alone? Our Solo package (6,200,000₫) puts you behind your own Easy Rider — no licence needed, no supplement on top.
▸ Do I need a Border Area Permit?
Yes — legally required. HagiangTrips arranges it free. Send a passport photo via WhatsApp to +84 904 044 772 after booking.
▸ What about large luggage?
Leave big bags at HagiangTrips Hotel free of charge. Bring a 20–30L daypack for the loop.
▸ Is it safe? What if it rains?
Safety is our priority. We provide full-body raincoats and waterproof bags. If we must cancel due to severe weather: free date change or 100% refund with no deductions. Travel insurance up to 200,000,000₫ included.
▸ Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Absolutely — vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free all catered for. Inform us at booking.
▸ Deposit and payment terms?
A 30% deposit secures your booking, paid via OnePay (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB) or bank transfer — we cover all card fees. The remaining 70% is settled at our Ha Giang office before departure, by cash, card or transfer.

only 1968 Vienna Convention IDPs. Permits issued in the
USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Japan, South Korea and Spain are not valid here — and there is no IDP you can buy that would be. Riding without one voids your travel insurance.
