1. Who will be driving the motorbike? For our Private Motorbike tour, you can sit back, relax, and take photos safely behind our highly skilled, English-speaking "Easy Riders."
2. Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP)? You only need a valid IDP (1968 Vienna Convention with an A1/A endorsement) if you choose the "Self-ride" option. If you book the tour with our Easy Riders, you do not need any license at all!
3. What makes this a "Private" and "Luxury" option? Privacy means ultimate flexibility. You are not bound by the strict schedule of a large group. You travel at your own pace, stop for photos whenever you want, and enjoy dedicated service from your personal guide. The "Luxury" element guarantees premium motorbikes and upgraded, highly-rated private hotel rooms/resorts instead of shared dormitories.
4. What happens to my large luggage? We highly recommend bringing only a smaller backpack (20L-30L) for maximum convenience on the motorbike. You can securely store your large, heavy suitcases at the HagiangTrips office completely free of charge while you are on the Loop.
5. Is the Ha Giang Loop safe? What happens if it rains? Your safety is our absolute highest priority. Our local drivers are rigorously trained for all mountain conditions. In case of rain, we provide premium full-body raincoats, waterproof pants, and waterproof covers for your luggage to keep you and your belongings completely dry.
6. I am a vegetarian/vegan or have food allergies. Can you accommodate this? Absolutely. Because this is a private tour, we can easily customize your meals to meet any dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.
7. Are the Border Permits, VAT, and Payment Fees really included? Yes! As part of our luxury all-inclusive service, Value Added Tax (VAT) and mandatory border area permits are already fully covered. Furthermore, when you pay your remaining balance via credit card at our office, HagiangTrips covers 100% of the transaction fees.
8. What is your cancellation and change policy?
Before Departure: Cancellations made 30+ days in advance receive a 100% deposit refund. Cancellations made 15-29 days in advance receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. If HagiangTrips must cancel due to severe weather, you will receive a free date change or a 100% full refund.
During the Tour: We pre-book all drivers, premium accommodations, and food in advance. Should you decide to voluntarily alter your itinerary or cancel mid-trip, no refunds will be issued for unused services.

DAY 1: THE GATEWAY TO THE GEOPARK (~70KM) (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
08:00 AM: Enjoy coffee at the HagiangTrips office. Your guide will provide a personalized tour briefing. The journey begins at 08:30 AM.
Morning: Cross the 8km Bac Sum Pass, the official entrance to the Dong Van Global Geopark. Stop to admire the beautiful Minh Tan Valley and reach Quan Ba Heaven Gate for a panoramic view of the town and the famous Fairy Twin Mountains.
Afternoon: Explore the stunning Lung Khuy Cave. Later, visit a traditional linen weaving facility in Lung Tam village to witness local craftsmanship.
Evening: Check in at Hmong Village Resort. Relax in your private room and enjoy a premium dinner at the resort.
DAY 2: THE SACRED NORTH & CULTURAL HERITAGE (~100KM) (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
