❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & POLICIES (PRIVATE MOTORBIKE TOUR)

1. Who will be driving the motorbike? For our Private Motorbike tour, you can sit back, relax, and take photos safely behind our highly skilled, English-speaking "Easy Riders."

2. Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP)? You only need a valid IDP (1968 Vienna Convention with an A1/A endorsement) if you choose the "Self-ride" option. If you book the tour with our Easy Riders, you do not need any license at all!

3. What makes this a "Private" and "Luxury" option? Privacy means ultimate flexibility. You are not bound by the strict schedule of a large group. You travel at your own pace, stop for photos whenever you want, and enjoy dedicated service from your personal guide. The "Luxury" element guarantees premium motorbikes and upgraded, highly-rated private hotel rooms/bungalows instead of shared dormitories.

4. What happens to my large luggage? We highly recommend bringing only a smaller backpack (20L-30L) for maximum convenience on the motorbike. You can securely store your large, heavy suitcases at the HagiangTrips office completely free of charge while you are on the Loop.

5. Is the Ha Giang Loop safe? What happens if it rains? Your safety is our absolute highest priority. Our local drivers are rigorously trained for all mountain conditions. In case of rain, we provide premium full-body raincoats, waterproof pants, and waterproof covers for your luggage to keep you and your belongings completely dry.

6. I am a vegetarian/vegan or have food allergies. Can you accommodate this? Absolutely. Because this is a private tour, we can easily customize your meals to meet any dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.

7. Are the Border Permits, VAT, and Payment Fees really included? Yes! As part of our luxury all-inclusive service, Value Added Tax (VAT) and mandatory border area permits are already fully covered. Furthermore, when you pay your remaining balance via credit card at our office, HagiangTrips covers 100% of the transaction fees.

8. What is your cancellation and change policy?

• Before Departure: Cancellations made 30+ days in advance receive a 100% deposit refund. Cancellations made 15-29 days in advance receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. If HagiangTrips must cancel due to severe weather, you will receive a free date change or a 100% full refund.

• During the Tour: We pre-book all drivers, premium accommodations, and food in advance. Should you decide to voluntarily alter your itinerary or cancel mid-trip, no refunds will be issued for unused services.

DAY 1: HA GIANG - DONG VAN

• 8:00 AM: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your Hotel. Then your guide will come to pick up you at 8.45 AM to our office. Brief you on the itinerary and safety protocols.

• 9:00 AM: Check-in at the famous Km0 in Ha Giang City and start the ride!

• 10:30 AM: Conquer the 8km-long Bac Sum Pass, the gateway to the Dong Van Global Geopark.

• 11:00 AM: Stop to admire the beautiful Minh Tan Valley.

• 11:30 AM: Sightseeing at Quan Ba Heaven Gate.

• 12:00 PM: Enjoy a panoramic view of Quan Ba Town and the Twin Fairy Mountains.

• 12:30 PM: Visit the traditional linen weaving facility in Lung Tam Village.

• 1:00 PM: Lunch at the foot of Can Ty Pass.

• 2:00 PM: Ride through the Can Ty Nghien wood forest and take photos at the Lonely Nghien Tree.

• 3:00 PM: Pass through Yen Minh town and conquer the steep Tham Ma Pass (Horse Power Challenge Slope).

• 3:30 PM: Visit Pao's House, the famous setting for the 80s movie "Pao's Story".

• 9:30 AM: Visit the Youth Volunteer Monument and take pictures at the famous Death Rock.

• 10:30 AM: Ride the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass (One of Vietnam's Four Great Passes). Descend to admire Tu San Canyon (800m deep) and take a relaxing boat ride on the Nho Que River.

• 12:00 PM: Continue the journey to see the spectacular M-shaped curve and Mau Due town.

• 1:30 PM: Enjoy lunch in Mau Due town.

• 4:00 PM: Visit the French Fort relic in Lung Ho commune.

• 5:00 PM: Check-in at your private bungalow at Chien's Lodge Homestay in Du Gia. Relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

DAY 3: DU GIA - HA GIANG

• 8:00 AM: Breakfast at the homestay and depart at 9:00 AM.

• 9:30 AM: Enjoy a refreshing swim at the beautiful Du Gia Waterfall.

• 11:00 AM: Ride through Duong Thuong and admire the stunning viewpoints along the way.

• 1:30 PM: Stop for lunch at Thai An commune.

• 2:30 PM: Continue the journey, visiting the Thai An Hydro Dam, Lung Pu Waterfall, and the peaceful Thuan Hoa village.

• 4:00 PM: Arrive back at the Hagiangtrips Hotel. Take a refreshing shower, enjoy a quick pre-departure meal, and get ready for your bus!
