Which Departure Should You Take?
The right one depends on when your Ha Giang Loop tour starts. Most Loop tours leave Ha Giang in the morning, so the goal is usually to arrive the evening before, or overnight.
Morning & midday (07:00, 11:15)
You reach Ha Giang in the afternoon, with the evening free to rest before an early tour start. The most relaxed option, and best if you get motion sick — daytime driving is easier on the stomach.
Afternoon (16:00)
Arrives late evening. Good if you want a full last day in Sapa first. Book a hotel in Ha Giang for the night before your tour.
Night bus (22:30)
Sleep on the bus, arrive around dawn, and start your Loop tour the same morning — saving a night's accommodation. Take a cabin, not the limousine, so you actually sleep. Message us to line up the timing with your tour.
Limousine or Cabin Bus?
13-seat Limousine (07:00, 16:00) — reclining seats, not beds. The cheapest option at 350,000₫, and a smaller, more sociable vehicle. Fine for the daytime runs.
VIP 24-Cabin Bus (11:00, 22:30) — enclosed private cabin with a flat bed, curtain and charging point. The only sensible choice for the 22:30 night bus. Couples can book a double cabin, cheaper per person than two singles.

- September to March is peak season. Seats sell out days ahead, especially the cabins. Message us to check availability before fixing your dates.
- Journey time is 6 hours across all four departures. Almost none of it is highway — the road winds through the mountains, so bring tablets if you are prone to motion sickness.
- Shoes come off on the cabin bus. Standard on Vietnamese sleeper buses; a bag is provided.
- One large bag plus hand luggage per person is included.
